An interesting wit. Orange is in the nose. But there is also a strange baby aspiring smell as well. The appearance was a touch dark for a wit. More like a heffe. The taste is very good though. Mouthfeel is very lively. Overall, I like it more than most wits. The orange notes sweeten the taste a little and give it a tiny bit of fruityiness that makes the beer distinctive.

Hazy straw yellow color, small white head. Sweet, spicy scent. Sweet, malty, spicy taste. Choriander aftertaste. Fizzy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Nice average beer which is pretty good for the abv. Light citrus coriander aroma. Thin fading head. Thick on tongue. Not bad overall.

Clear gold color. Aroma of grass and resin. Sips medium bodied and lasts throughout. Orange and dry citrus flavor. Spicy finish and moderately thin palate. Peppery brew that is backed by a solid amount of hop bitterness. Not my fav.

Light orange with an orange nose and no head. Lightly-carbonated with a soft palate and a sweet orange finish.

On draught at Brewers Coalition, 3/9/14
Lightly hazy, soft yellow body with a small white head that recedes to cover.
Mandarin oranges in the nose with light wheat nuttiness. Very low strength, nearly nonexistent.
In the mouth we have a very watery, very flavorless beer. Clean, for sure, but just tastes like a glass of seltzer water with orange pulp and orange rind steeped in it for about an hour. So not bad, but as far as a beer is concerned, quite lacking. Clean though...

Taster on the island. Pretty much what you’d expect--a better Blue Moon. Orange peel, wheat and coriander with a refreshing citrus taste.

Coronado Orange Avenue Wit doesn’t meet expectations. Light but fresh orange aroma coming from a head that quickly goes flat. Pour is an orange-amber. Taste is is also pretty mild with mostly orange and honey flavors. Unfortunately, the flavors don’t last because of too much fizz at the end -- like a seltzer quality. Orange Avenue is unique on paper, but the execution is a little off in my opinion.

Jimthechap (1480) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - JAN 13, 2014
From tap at Hashigo Zake, Wellington NZ. I caught scent of this beer before I saw it. Appeared pale yellow with a slight haze. Aromas of blossom everywhere, lending the beer an almost middle eastern aspect. Quite wonderful and also enchanted Mrs Jimthechap. The aromas were reflected in the flavours along with a subtle dash of honey and mild bitterness. A real charmer.
