Pours dark brown with a medium sized, light brown head that leaves spider web lace. Smells sweet and chocolatey with some dark roasted malts, dark chocolate, and a little wet dog. Tastes good. Lots of dark, roasted malts and bitter dark chocolate. Sweet chocolate follows, with some hops and smoke and more roast. Medium body, good carbonation.

At the brewery. Dark pour with small tan head. Grainy nose. Flavor is a bit ashy, with roasted malt flavors. Hops come through near the end.

Black with a fizzy white head. Roasted grain aroma and a nice dark burnt grain taste with a bitter coffee finish.
