COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A robust Porter, nearly black in color, with a roast malt flavor from black and chocolate malts. The sharp bitterness from the black malt is balanced with a sweet finish from adequate caramel malt. A full-bodied beer with medium hop bitterness and low hop aroma.

Color was dark brown with small off-white head. Aroma and flavor was slighlty malty and some bitterness on the swallow. Not much else here flavor-wise. Very bland. Decent creamy body with dry finish. OK porter.

(tap) I generally love porters... but this just didn't do it for me. Fine as porters go, but it didn't have as much character as I was expecting.

Impressive!!
Super coffee onslaught with bittersweet chocolate shadows..venemous hop bites...all coming from complete darkness and creamy creamy tan skies..Outstanding full bodied porter from a brewpub..!! very impressive indeed..
