May 3, 2008 Pours a transparent copper amber with a spotty-lacing cream-colored head. Aroma of fresh, resiny piny hops with a toasty sweet caramel malty balance. Body starts fairly full and caramel malty sweet with a sticky resiny hop character. Nice sweet and hoppy balance with a crisp, bittersweet finish. A good imperial red.

Feb 16, 2008 22oz bottle acquired in trade with TheCheeseMan (thanks!). Poured a deep amberish color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of pine, citrus, and some caramel. Nice hoppy aroma. Tastes were reversed with more caramel with lighter pine and citrus. Aroma was hops vs. the tastes more sweet and malty. I never would have guessed this one was over 10%.

Jan 18, 2008 on tap-pours a rich to patchy light brown head that laces and mahogany color. Aroma is cascade-citrus grapefruit, sweet hops, secondary medium malt-chocolate. Taste is potent cascade-citrus grapefruit, sweet hops, secondary medium malt-chocolate, alcohol. Seems unbalanced for first third, then gets better balance. Maybe the 10% alcohol? An imperial red or American Strong Ale. Good carbonation. Sipping. At end… 3.7
