On tap at Stone. 4oz taster. Dark amber red. Malty aroma. Early boil hop bitterness. Medium to heavy body. Meh, but I get another >10% rating.

Jul 7, 2008 Bomber from Stepanje! These here west coast hop bombs are a growin on me. Pours a medium amber that looks brown in the glass. Healthy pour yields exponentially growning head that settles in an amazing display of wavyness and never overflows the glass. Hops exude out of the glass and waft about the basement. a great infusion of hops and malt that continuously compliment and see saw back and forth on this extended body and mouthfeel. alcohol is hidden expertly. The grainbill must be massive for this critter.

Jun 13, 2008 Pours a decent deep amber color. (The best thing about this beer.) The nose was vegital and a strange kind of fishy influence. Just weird, as was the flavor.

May 16, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Miketd! Pours a very dark red color with a off white head. Has a very nice aroma to it that makes me think it has a sweet tart soda like smell to it. Has a medium heavy mouthfeel. Taste is very complex with caramel, butterscotch, and a bold malt upfront taste. The finish on this bad boy has a sweet malt hop mix that leaves me wanting another sip. Overall this is very interesting brew and one I wouldn’t mind having again. Thanks Mike!

May 13, 2008 22oz bottle. Dark red orange with a large off white head. Heavy sweet malt with citrus hop tones in the aroma. Ruddy caramel and alefruit flavors dominate. Bready character with citric and earthy hops. Heavy lingering sweetness in the finish some hop presence. Mouthfeel is a heavy medium.
