Bomber from the Beer Store in Frazer. Very dark brown with a rich tan head, lightly carbonated. Mocha malt flavor, mild smoky hops finish. More Yoohoo like when colder, hops edge starts to be more pronounced as the beer warms. Good quality imperial stout but not really a standout within this style.

Draught @ BBB. Pours black with a creamy dark mocha head that leaves lots of sticky lacing and trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and earthy with roasted malts, caramel, dark bread, roasted cereal, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, dried pine needles, moist soil and hints of orange peal. Taste is sweet, bitter, malty and earthy with roasted malts, dark bread, caramel, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, dried pine needles, moist soil, pears, liquorice and hints of alcohol. Mouthfeel is fat, slightly viscous, round, roasted astringent, tiny boozy and medium to full bodied. Very solid US imperial stout!
