Bomber from BevMo. Pours pitch black. Roasty coffee nose with a little bit of milky sweetness. Flavor is fairly roasted up front with some good coffee notes. A little subdued sweetness. Finish has a little bit of a hoppy bite to it. Alcohol is well hidden.

Bottle. Opaque black liquid with medium tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, light grain, licorice and bread. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of chocolate, coffee, licorice and light bread. Medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Really nice.

Looks like a proper stout - deep black with a creamy brown head. Tastes quite rich, with a bit of coffee and maybe chocolate.

On tap at Daily Growler, UA: black pour, tan head, sheets of lacing. aroma of roasted malt, little smoke. tastes are also roasty with cocoa, pine. creamy thin to medium palate. fairly bitter chalky finish. well balanced. 7.2

Look, I don’t like real imperial stouts so if you do, take my numbers for an on style impy stout. Big and black. Scummy looking head. Yes, from the start this is terribly on style. wew. Big rude roto-tiller thang happening. Nasty Nellie black mouth coating beer. Difficult for my girlie lager loven taste buds to understand. Not impressed but its on style fer sure.

Bottle from craft. Really good. Not as good as the barrel aged version, but holds it own. Nice notes of Chocolate malts, some roast, Earth, vanilla, nut and hop.

Jet black, huge stout coffee, some thick carmelization. Noble hop aroma. Big mouthfeel. Nice lacing could float bottle cap n head. The roast and coffee dominates. Awesome stout.
