Flaska. Kolsvart öl med ett stort moccafärgat skum. Rikt i såväl doft som smak av lakrits, kaffe, rostad malt och karamell. Oljig munkänsla, fyllig kropp. Lätt sälta i avslutningen. Exemplariskt.

Well I was maybe not ready for this. This was my first imperial stout. I found that not drinkable enough. I had to spare half bottle for next day. But great to replace wine during a meal: good coffee and cocoa taste. I found carbonation too low.

Bottle picked up at La Malt ’summat’ beer shop. Toulouse, consumed at Mums, Worcester, Thames, Friday 28th November 2014. Pours black with an attractive tan sticky caramel head. Creamy vanilla and moccha, lashings of coffee, but with caramel. This is marvellous, its smooth, indulgent and far better tgan I expected, rich and full flavoured, great. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Fast schwarzes Bier mit schöner stabilen bräunlichen Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, Kaffee, reife Früchte, leicht hopfig, fruchtig. Geschmack sehr röstmalzig, viel Kaffee und Schokolade, dezent hopfig bitter, würzig, gut!
