jaghana (3700) - Strasbourg (France), FRANCE - JUL 11, 2013
Bottle 33cl a cloudy copper beer with huge head. Nose is floral with lemon notes. Aroma is grainy, sweet like, yeast notes and sweet caramel. Relative bitterness, on grassy hops and yellow fruit touch, spicy finish. Quite bitter, fruit astringency, orange peel and zest, yeast finish.

erickok (3415) - Tours (and Paris), FRANCE - FEB 20, 2013
Cloudy dark golden body with quickly diminishing grey head. Clearly meant to be hop forward, but the aroma of fermented fruit, sweaty malts and and humous leave more of a bière de garde feel for me than an ipa. Suits me well though. Carbonation is lively, diminishing the taste a bit, especially the malty body. What’s left is a bitter, nee, astringent profile with dry, even watery aftertaste. Bit disappointed by this one. Aroma started out well yet odd, but the flavour does not deliver what it should. Needs to get the carbonation under control (although no gusher here) and it will already be much better. (33cl bottle from Bière Révolution)

altonbrownd (3766) - Brussels, BELGIUM - JAN 27, 2013
Bottle from La Cave à Bulles. Bold orange body with soapy medium head. Nose is sweet, floral, honey, citrus. Taste is hops, butter, citrus, coriander, grapefruit. Smooth, creamy texture. Pretty good with a silky finish.

Cloudy gold beer, huge fluffy white head. Lagerish nose. Light dry palate. Dry but creamy malt, a little nutty. Touch of sourness. Light orange hop in the dry effervescent finish. Possibly has a mild infection. Too dry and frothy.

fiulijn (14294) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 17, 2012
Bottle from La Cave à Bulles, Paris; lot 1201, bb June 2013 (2 months old)
Hazy blond color with an orange shade; medium head, controlled carbonation. The aroma is quite anonymous. The flavor is dry, some malt, but also a sharp yeasty and metallic note; it has a quite strong bitterness, with some dry hop resins and very light fruitiness from the hops.
Drinkable, but too much affected by the yeast character, like many old style French beers.

DutchDrebus (3791) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - SEP 13, 2011
Gusher alert! Unclear yellow/brown colour, big fluffy, lacing head. Smells orange peel, pils, malty. Tastes like a blond beer, unfresh. Great carbo, okay body.

Benzai (7220) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - AUG 16, 2011
Bottle @ home shared with DutchDrebus. Extreme gusher! Brownish yellow / orange color, hazy, cloudy and with parts of yeast in it. Massive white head. Looks pretty disgusting. Smells like some kind of sweetness. Taste sweet, just a little bitter. Thin body, fizzy carbonation. No way this is an IPA!

Ungstrup (29081) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 11, 2011
Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a huge light tan head due to being very lively when opened, which hints of an infection. The aroma has notes of malt and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and spices as well as hints of smoke. Odd - again could come from an infection. Thanks yespr for sharing.

faroeviking (10293) - FAROE ISLANDS - FEB 26, 2011
De botella. Cloudy deep golden colour, tiny floaties, bubbly white head. Bit spiced and smokish (infected?) hoppy aroma. Flavour: Bitter spice like dry hoppy flavour.

Bottle at yespr. Hazy golden coloured with a huge white ehad. Fruity aroma of caramel, spices, grass and hops. Fruity flavour of spices, grass and hops. Hoppy finish.
