Jmichael (594), Asheville, North Carolina, USA Jan 6, 2009 very good full bodied fluffy headed belgian, full yeast body and creamy full palate, typical frothy blond belgian and really good. smjohnst (202), , Pennsylvania, USA Dec 23, 2008 I was really disappointed in this beer. I love the brown ale but this just had a dry type of flavor to me. It wasnt what I expected. LtJudge (366), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA Dec 21, 2008 Pours a cloudy yellow color with a small white head.Aromas of bananas and candy and alcohol.Flavor matches the aroma.Has a slight bitter finish. Not bad! dmac (967), Toms River, New Jersey, USA Dec 20, 2008 750 ml cork and caged bottle from Monaghans. Pours a clear golden yellow with lots of rising carbonation and a large pillowy white head. Aroma of yeast, cloves, banana rinds and finisishes with some bubble gum. Lighter bodied with strong carbonation and a dry yeasty finish. Flavor is dry overall with notes of bread and grain, fruit rind, yeast, pepper and clove. A classic beer that is worthy of a solid score after so many ratings.
