It has a very big head indeed - pour it gently - and a very clean palate, beginning with a dry, lightly citric fruitiness, and finishing with a distinctive and delicate, perfumy, hop character. Very light and fluffy in texture, giving little hint of its strength.

A great beer. Rich and full taste, with a dark and bitter aftertaste. Some citrus hints here and there.

Had it from draft. Pours clear blond, lots of carbonation, rock steady head, aroma of citrus, fruits, floral (maybe Saaz hops?). Nice medium body with a dry, lightly bitter finish. Overall I really liked it

Tipical belgian tripel. Nice. Clear corriander presence. High carbonisation. Why is it caracterized as an Abbey pale ale? Its a tripel!!

75cl bottle at George Pub, Rimini. It pours a slightly cloudy golden color with a large white head. Aroma is dry esters, grass, bread, light orange peel and grass, some winey sweet notes. Taste has some more lingering stone fruit sweetness and more dry notes of esters, yeast, grass, bread. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, classic

Lightly hazy golden orange, cream head. Light spices (coriander, cloves), belagian yeasts and maltiness, fruity. Mellow and harmonious taste, honey, Ambrosoli candies, hint of herbal (thyme). Great balance.

From a big bottle dated 7/6/15 J14:58 ~ Pours golden with head and lace. Aroma of light malts and fresh bread dough. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of rich malts, grains, bright yeast esters, citrus, lime rind zest, slightly bitter herbs. Refreshing and noticably dry, slightly bitter in the finish, and sweet with significant carbonation, complexity, challenging esters and taste twists. Iíll admit, Iíve been enjoying this brew since the 1980s and itís always been a treat.
