COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It has a very big head indeed - pour it gently - and a very clean palate, beginning with a dry, lightly citric fruitiness, and finishing with a distinctive and delicate, perfumy, hop character. Very light and fluffy in texture, giving little hint of its strength.

Poured into a triple karmeliet glass. And darker golden with tons of head. Smell was a lend between ripe pear and lemon. Palate was carbonation and thinner than I expected. Taste was bready, caramel, and slight metallic but in a way that typifies this style...not a bad thing. Goes down very easy with almost no hops. The finish could be stronger but overall a very nice and refreshing beer after a long day of yard work.

Drank this years ago from a 0,75 l. bottle. I enjoyed everything about it. Most importantly, not being able to rate this, the pleasantness and duration of the dreams I had that night. Superb!

pours a pale golden beer with a good thick head. Smells sweet. Fruity. The taste is a bit boring. Little sweet and bitter. Very nice carbo. I dont like the aftertaste.

Although I don’t like a triples too much, mostly because of its usually heaviness, this is quite an exception. I liked its quite light end and the citrus and spices notes. A good beer!

Bottle from Weis Lewisburg. Pours golden with some effervescence and big, massive, white, fluffy head which will eventually disappear. A bit of apple on the nose. Smooth drinker with a touch of bread. Finishes clean. Solid for the price

Pale amber color, but clean and brilliant. Small and white head, shortlasting. Sweet and a little bit yeasty aroma, to caramel, some toffee and spices. The mouthfeel is very well balanced, elegant, smooth but not weak. Caramel for the sweet notes, spices for the bitter ones. Carbonated, medium bodied and a clean and astringent finish after a medium development. The overall is nice, pretty Godó.

Bottle, 330 ml, at home. Poured into a tulip glass. ABV 7,5% Just a tiny bit of haziness in a deep golden yellow coloured beer. The head is tall, slighty more than two fingers. White in colour, begins with a soapy thickness and quickly turns to a froathy foam, with good retention nevertheless. No lacing left around the glass. Aroma is quite discreet, of fruits and citrus. Taste begins moderate sweet, with lots of fruity notes such as apricot, then becomes very slighty bitter, lightly hoppy and with some bubblegum on the aftertaste. Medium thick body, good carbonation, just a bit above average, with a nice bite on the tongue. Fairly dry on the palate. Overall, very good tripel, nicely balanced.

Pours hazy and golden with a big white head that does not dissipate at all. Smells like fresh cut grass, bread, and a hint of orange peel. Thick and yeasty all the way down. There was a slight malt presence that added a bit of sweetness to it. There are better Abbey Tripels out there.
