COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It has a very big head indeed - pour it gently - and a very clean palate, beginning with a dry, lightly citric fruitiness, and finishing with a distinctive and delicate, perfumy, hop character. Very light and fluffy in texture, giving little hint of its strength.

330ml brown bottle. Pale gold colour. Compact white head, creamy texture, slightly rock, settles to a very fine white layer on the surface. Slight haze with some suspended yeast floaties. Aroma has clove and lemon notes with trace vanilla. Flavour has vanilla, fruity malt, bit of citrus hop flavour in the finish, failry dry. Fine carbonation, light mouthfeel.

Bottle. Pours light golden with a tall, white head. Aroma of flowers, orange and yeast. Medium body, quite lively. Abrupt. Mostly sweet in flavour, quite bland. It’s ok.

33cl as Corsendonck Agnus - tripel (7,5%) BL sampler. - Very pale beige-golden pour, not all that big a foamhead as warned. "Musty apple and pear" indeed, with a touch of ripe stone fruit and honey on a fusel jetstream. High, soda-like carbonation propels to the palate: mainly slick honey-coated stone and pip fruit, pear drops and fine almond paste from the malts, with a good amount of grassy hop bitters right down to the finish, where some banana peel astringency comes in. Slick, oily coating and some warmth on the swallow. Oh Du Bocq... Is the (original?) 10% Corsendonck Gold Tripel still around?

Óriási, tartós hab, szép borostyán szín, fűszeres komlós illat. Íze erősen komlós, fűszeres. Keserűje a korty elejétől érezhető, először gyengéden, de lecsengésre brutálissá erősödik. Klasszikus iskola. Utóíze keserű, közepesen hosszú, kissé olajos. Testes sör.

23/06/2016 - 33cl bottle @ Cameleon, Brussels. Golden colour with creamy white head. Nose is grainy, some lemon hops. Taste is grains again, fruity, light bitter ending. Nothing special

A nice tripel, with a strong carbonating mouthfeel, but a bit monotonic in taste. Not bad, but not my favorite.

Nice beer! Yellow, with high carbonation resulting in a big head that doesn’t go away too easily, yeasty, with hints of citrus and spring flowers, it’s really good! You wouldn’t guess it’s a 7,5 beer, as the ABV is very well masked. It’s indeed very light and drinkable!

33cl bottle. Clear pale yellow with a tall white head with poor retention and visible carbonation. Citrus, yeast, a bit of bananas, honey, overripe apples, floral hops. Medium bodied with low carbonation and a honey-sweet aftertaste.

The bottle says it’s a triple ale. A light triple ale, both in taste and ABV. Not bad, pretty drinkable. It was nice if you want a light triple and don’t mind missed the strong stuff.
