So lively it pushes the cork out itself - make sure you have an overflow glass to hand just in case. Thick creamy white head sits for ever above a clear pale orange champagne-lively body. Massively dry hoppy aroma, spicey and heading towards apricot. Hints to a lightly roasted malt body come through in the aroma too. In the mouth it’s very soft, the carbonation is perfect, it isn’t harsh at all. The first taste on swallowing was a gently light malt, but there’s an amazing subtle resiny hoppy bitterness that’s left behind, which maybe takes a minute before it becomes dominant, and then just continues for ever. No hint of alcohol at all.

Oct 11, 2008 [Bottle] Pours an almost clear gold with a large soapy off white head. Subdued malty aroma, grass, yeast. Medium mouthfeel, fig newtons, doughy yeast, raisins, and caramel.

Sep 17, 2008 Golden pour with a massive white head. The aroma started off with some interesting barnyard tones, later joined by some nice perfume and fruity (mostly pear) tones. The flavor was a great mix of pear, lemon, apple, and hops. Nice bubbly feel, dry finish.

Sep 14, 2008 This is a weel suited beer for right after a long shift at work, which is when i tried it. Certainly does pour a big head over a light yellow body. Did not get much off the nose besides some grassiness. Flavor was very floral hops with hardly any bitterness. But the high carbination that almost stings the roof of your mouth makes you forget what the flavor is. high drinkability for one with a 7.5 abv.

Sep 8, 2008 Bottle from Dranken Geers. Gold, thin white head. A rather fruity lovely tripel. Really drinkable, reasonably light in mouth. OK so nothing particularly characterful, but I like the easy drinkingness. Some jellied fruit, tangerine. Fine.
