Draft @ Toronado San Diego. Pours a hazy medium golden color with a fluffy white head. Some apple and other tree fruits on the nose as well as the flavor, crisp finish. A decent fruit beer, was expecting a bit more from this beer.

750ml corked bottle and served in my big ole Karmeliet tulip: Hazy white indeed and topped by a huge fluffy white head which left very nice lacework upon the glassware. The nose very much leads me the where I expected, lot of green apple vapours, hints of orange peel, corriander, naked wheat husks, and pale malts. Sadly the taste was a bit of a letdown, initial impression was that of sucking upon a Jolly Rancher Apple candy which drowns out any witbier character that could have been found underneath. There is a sweet sugary note that I just found less than refreshing. The apple character i don’t mind as much. A hint of spice toward the finish. The mouth feel is sprite and lively, perhaps too much. Remove the candy like sweetness and increase the traditional witbier tones and then I could really dig this brew.

Bottle. Pours a hazy dirty yellow with a two finger white head. Aroma of apples, coriander, wheat and some spices. Flavor is sweet apples, wheat, lemon and has a light fruity sweetness with a light body and a crisp apple finish.

08/01 0.25 l bottle @ Hopdevil, Zagreb. It poured murky pale yellow body with small white head. Nice yeasty banana flavor before that apple component. Flavor goes from apple at first to a nice, yeasty and full bodied Wit after few sips as well as in the aftertaste. Long, slightly sweetish finish. I don’t like fruit beers, not even crazy about wits, but this is surely a good thing, I can’t get how it could be rated lower than some poorly made fruit lambics here. Caps down.

750ml bottle from Wise Guys in Merrillville, Indiana. It looks like a wit, a milky pale yellow body with a pillowy white head. No lace. There-apostrophe-s an apple and licorice blending in the nose that just dosn-apostrophe-s agree with me. While it-apostrophe-s not altogether, unpleasant, it has an oddness that has limited appeal to me. Some orange is added to the flavor that somehow makes it all a bit more palatable, but it-apostrophe-s not something that you-apostrophe-ll see me repeating any time soon. On top of which, it is a very gassy ale.

75cl bottle from Mr. Dunderbaks (Tampa, FL). Pours a bright hazy golden yellow color with a one finger bright white head. Decent retention and lacing. Aroma is green apple, coriander, wheat, sweet malt. Flavor is mealy and thick feeling in the mouth with pear, apple, citrus, and honey notes. Medium body with a sweet and tart finish.

Pours a hazy green-yellow with a soapy white head. Nose is apple, slight citrus and spice. Flavor is granny smith with pear, spice, and sugar. Easy-drinking.
