2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 JorisPPattyn (6728) - Antwerpen, - OCT 12, 2006
Pale hazy white yellow beer, good white, whipped eggwhite-like head. Lots of coriander, lots more than apple, bit of hay/straw nose. Appleteaser-taste, also the typical fizzy MF, and of course, coriander. Rather sweet-fruity, not overtypical apple. Spritzy MF, wheat & sugar-filled slickness. Children’s drink.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 burg326 (1100) - Florida, USA - MAY 22, 2012
Cork and caged bottle pours a light clear yellow, aromas of musky basment and green apples. Flavors are the same as the aroma, nice change of pace for a fruit beer, great outside in Florida heat.

Draft at taproom with juno. Musky and earthy... Subtle pine and orange cream... Apple skins. The most unique beer I’ve had in a while.

750 ml corked and caged bottle. Pours hazy pale yellow with a giant white fluffy head. It takes its sweet time receding, but once it does it leaves a blanket of foam and decorative lace. Aroma is apples, clove, citrus powder drink. Taste is sweet, tart and spicy; some umami, too. It reminds me a bit of a German Hefeweizen with apple juice added. Carbonation is average but the body is thin. This is really tasty.

750 c&c from Malt & Vine. Pours light dishwater gold with a 3 finger foamy/fizzy white head. Aromas of spice, apple. Suggest light clove with perhaps ginger. Near medium body til the carb goes away. The initial flavor is clove (perhaps mixed with ginger) and apple. A mild breadiness is in it. Good summer session ale. If you have a taste for clove!

750ml Bottle: Aroma of apple, ginger, flowers, pear, nectar, and a hint of ginger. Poured pale yellow/flaxen in color with a huge, creamy, dense, white head that greatly diminished but lasted throughout. Hazy. Very sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is heavily sweet. Tastes of apples, grain, pear, nectar, and light ginger. Kinda tastes like old, fermented, apple juice. Light body. Dry texture. Average to lively carbonation. Apple, grain, pear, light ginger finish is dry.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2011 On draft @ Sunset Grill in Allston, MA. Served in a flute glass. Hazy yellow with a green hue. Very Light, very refreshing with a pear and apple nose, same in the taste. A very nice palate cleaner after a few real heavy beers. I didn’t feel very heterosexual holding this glass and drinking this BUT… It was very tasty.
