Ungstrup (11136), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 3, 2007 Bottled. An unclear light yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet apply and lightly wheaty. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of apples and wheat, combined with a refreshing light acidity from the wheat. joergen (6340), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 2, 2007 Bottle.
Hazy yellow coloured with a white head.
The aroma is dominated by citrus and spices with notes of fruits and wheat.
Sweet flavour of apples, wheat and spices with fruity notes.
The flavour is a bit too sweet and the apples are too dominating, but not a bad apple beer. Hildigöltur (5052), København Ø, Denmark Oct 3, 2007 Bottled. Hazy pale yellow coloured. Spicy artificial apple aroma. Extremely sweet and sugary apple flavour. Light bodied. Cloying. JorisPPattyn (4282), Antwerpen, Belgium Oct 12, 2006 Pale hazy white yellow beer, good white, whipped eggwhite-like head. Lots of coriander, lots more than apple, bit of hay/straw nose. Appleteaser-taste, also the typical fizzy MF, and of course, coriander. Rather sweet-fruity, not overtypical apple. Spritzy MF, wheat & sugar-filled slickness. Children’s drink. yngwie (3529), Kristiansand, Norway Mar 22, 2007 Bottled at the Belgian Embassy in Oslo. A hazy, yellow-golden beer with a nice, white head. Some cellar notes in the aroma, else it is spices and green apples. Sugar, apples, spices and fruityness in the flavor. For a beer of this style and ABV it has a decent body, and a nice finish, maybe a bit weak, with spices and sugar. A really refreshing beer, and a nice start on a night of Belgian beers. (070301)
