Jul 28, 2008 Tap at the blind tiger. Poured a dark amber, with a very light nose, some belgian yeasts were noticeable.Flavor was fruity and yeasty with a nice sweet non cloying finish.
Could be more complex, but by no means bad.

Jul 17, 2008 Rich syrupy dark malts, sappy spruce, and earthy yeast in the sniff. Nuts and metal. Some licorice and liquor undertones.
Flavor is sweet (burnt sugar), and yeasty. Fairly piney with nice spice.
Fruits (apricots, plums, raisins, and apple cider).
An amazingly smooth palate, as these imported belgians tend to have.

Jul 9, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark brown with lasting off-white head. Aroma of malt, dark fruit, spices. Flavor is malt, sweet, fruit, with a little alcoholic feel. Very good.

Aroma: Sweet, fruit and berries. Cherry. Liquorice?
Taste: Cherry and some malt. Dark fruits. Sweet. Bittersweet aftertaste.

Jun 28, 2008 Bottle. Clear brown pour with a thick beige head. Sweet malty aroma, fruity with and citrus and grapes. Taste is malty, a little roasted, smoky and finishes with a tart dark fruit flavor. Very good.
