Bottle. A cool brew for the holidays. Warming and indulgent. When receiving "The Donk" as a Christmas present, you know there is someone up there that likes you! Enjoy with family.

Bottle. Surprising this is the RB choice. Not bad. Dark brown body lots of christmas spices cinnamon, nutmeg, and some dark fruits. A solid beer and the 8.5% is a solid bonus.

Color is clear dark ruby brown. Light beige head is foamy and lacy. Strong sweet aroma is plummy, spicy and alcoholic. Very sweet syrupy flavor is caramel malty and spicy with licorice and raisins. Aftertaste is very sweet. Palate is full-bodied, smooth and sugary. Hides alcohol very well and warms nicely.

250 ml bottle. Clear reddish brown colour. The foamy off-white head disappears quickly, but leaves some lacing. Sweet, fruity and spicy aroma with a hint of alcohol. Dark malts, raisins, nuts, caramel and spices in the flavour. Warm, sweet aftertaste.

750ml bottle from BevMo. Dark brown color - slightly muddy - Aroma of raisins, dark malts - slightly winey. Flavor is fairly crisp with notes of dark malts, fruits and some light spice. Finish is clean - alcohol is masked.

Bottle. Dark amber with white head. Malty sweetness. Raisins. Caramel. Pineapple. Doesn’t taste much alcohol despite having 8.5 ABV.

Pours caramel brown with tan head. Aromas of bread, fruits, citrus. Flavors of raisins, figs, caramel, cloves, candy sugar and slight alcohol. Medium body with lively carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. The best Corsendonk beer IMO.

(BELGIUM) Courtesy of AFI96 !!! This x-mas ale has a nice dark amber color with a med-tan head. This ale has a cola / ginger / clove aroma, with a brown sugar / spicy taste. finish is dry, but very enjoyable.
