750 ml bottle from Bevmo. This is the winter 2007 winter release. Pours a translucent brown-red color with a off-white head that last a while and leaves plenty of lacing in the glass. The aroma is rich with classic Belgian spices and some sweet toffee. The flavor mirrors the aroma with a fair amount of chocolate added. The Finish is long with a touch of hops and a lingering chocolate flavor. The mouthfeel is full, smooth and creamy. Overall: this is one great seasonal ale with a wide appeal that almost everyone can appreciate. Recommended

30cl bottle. Clear deep copper with a active, foamy medium off-white head that settles to a thin layer in 3-4 minutes. Fruity aroma with figs and rasins, some spiciness, and a bit of bubblegum sweetness as well. Highly carbonated which adds to a sharpness on the palate, medium body. Sweet toffee flavor with some spicy bitterness to provide good balance. Very enjoyable.

Poured a murky brown with ruby highlights. Aroma of malts and spices. Taste was dark malts, dried fruits, spices and a bitter hop finish. Nicely balanced and delicious.
