This beer smells like rock candy when it’s being made with a touch of metallic overtones. It pours with a clumpy white head with large bubbles. The head lingers. it’s dark brown and very murky. Oh, gee. It’s way too cold. That explains the metallic odor. This beer is very thick and syrupy. It has a plum taste. faroeviking (6023), Republica Vikingo de las, Faroe Islands

Pours dark bronze with a dense tan head with great retention and active carbonation. The aroma has spice, brown sugar, rich toffee, anise, cola, prunes, raisins, caramel and doughy biscuits. Full bodied beer that is lush and creamy with lots of frothy soft carbonation to deliver the taste throughout the mouth. The flavor starts with much of what was on the aroma with the weight going towards toffee, biscuits and anise. The finish has more sharpness with spice and some sourness. Thumbs up for this world class beer. onehotsexychic (101), Albany, New York, USA
