Bottle at Delirium Cafe. Dark. Sweet and a bit alcoholic. Powerful and bold, this might just be a little too sweet for drinking by itself.

The aroma is very floral, yeasty, sweet, citrusy, and spicy. The appearance is red-brown with a large foamy head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is smooth with sweet spices and alcohol in the finish. This is a great christmas beer.

Sampled on 10/17/2006 at River’s Bend -- Thanks Matt! -- Poured from a bottle. Clear, dark copper color. Lively carbonation and a fluffy yellow head. Flavor was sweet, malty, fruity, and just a hint of spice. Alcohol is invisible! Very smooth and easy to drink. This was a fine Belgian Ale!
