| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 17, 2005 Bottle, best before 9/16/07. Aroma of pine, slightly hoppy with some roasty dark malt including coffee and caramel. Dark, dark brown with a tall and frothy off-white head and great lacing. Caramel flavor, very malt forward with lots of oxidation flavors and some cardemom and coffee. Oxidation-cardboard just a little to much for me. Medium body with a metallic, mineral-like finish. badgerben (3596), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 16, 2005 Dark brown color with a thin head. Aroma struck me as corriander; odd for the style. Basic malt taste with yet more corriander. Some fruit, but overwhelmed from the spice. Out of balance. axilla (962), New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA
