Orangish, light, yeasty. Really not much to it. Spices are minimal. ABV 8.5% ? No way. Not a chance. Why is this rated so high again... ?

tap at OTH. Pours golden - orange with tan head. Aroma is very fruity, almost of fresh tangerine - orange and hops. Taste, fruity and candi sugar, malty. I was disappointed by the actual mouthfeel that really had a chewing gum feel with lots of citrusy - orange tones. Notes of yeast. Overall the beer is easy to drink and the 8.5 abv is very subtle. Mouthfeel and finish are the big let down as I was expecting more of the seasonal dark fruits with spices.

On tap @ Redlight. Slightly cloudy ruddy brown color, thick light tan head. Moderate spicy aroma, a lot of cinnamon and cardamom, very floral, some clove. Sweet taste, less spice than the aroma, mild Belgian yeast characters.

Poured clear brownish red with a gigantic head that took forever to settle to a solid film and leave excellent lacng. Typical belgian dark sugars, spices and dark fruit on the nose. Lots of flavors, but nothing really dominates. Strongest on the palate are figs, plums, citrus, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Also hints of chocolate, caramel, and bread and a slightly warming alcohol sensation. Full bodied, silky smooth mouthfeel, and a rich malty aftertaste. A perfect beer for the season, and I will certainly look for more over the holidays.

Nice appearance with a brown.ruby body, fine and delicious beige head. Aroma of coriander and some other spices like clove and cinnamon. The coriander dominates the flavor. there is fine caramel, dried fruits, raisins. Fine aftertaste.

Big beige head, brown/reddish colour. Aroma is yeasty, malty, caramel, straw, hops. Although not very strong flavour is warming with noticable ABV, sugar, malt, dark fruit and some bitterness at the end. This beer reminds me of Chimay bleue, spices. Mouthfeel is lively with small bubbles. This beer was a nice aquaintance.

On draft at Redlight, Orlando. Pours a reddish brown with a white head. Smell is floral, with winter spices and citrus. Taste follows suit with bitter fruits, orange peel and rind. Good Christmas beer.
