| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 23, 2006 This brown ale poured with a fluffy tan head, eliciting a pleasant fruity aroma. The flavor is smoky and malty, with a slightly bitter peppery herbal finish. There is the same carbonated mouthfeel as the abbey brown ale, but the only other similarity to that product is the color. kappldav123 (1901), Markkleeberg, Germany

Good beer! jeffc666 (1899), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
