On tap at Red Light Red Light.Poured a nice brown color with a small tan head. A nice sweet nose of malts and the dark fruits.Flavor was warming with dark fruits.A delicious offering.

Looked beautiful in a Corsendonk glass, large head, spicey malty cherry like taste with a tart berry sweet aftertaste. Very well blended. About the best non-hoppy holiday brew I’ve had(so far) this year

2005 bottle. Doesn’t look too exciting. Basic brown color with a thick tan head. Light fruity aroma with prunes and dates. Malty sweet flavor with some light fruit and citrus. Nothing spectacular but still enjoyable.

Pours ruddy brown with a decent tan head. Nose and flavor are spice and citrus with some coriander like influence. Creamy mouthfeel.

Bottle. Amber, average head, foamy. Mint and cinnamon spices prominent. Very crisp and pine needley, reminding me more of an IPA than a Belgian. Nice.

Red, brownish colour, slightly brownish head. A veray spicy and also bit malty aroma. Dito, but very strong flavour. Malty aftertaste.

Aroma is spicy, roasted and yeasty. Color is a deep amber with a nice tight head and very good carbonation. Taste is sweet and fruity. Starting with medium body that goes down smooth. Finish comes in with a sweet taste of raisins with a mild roasted caramel flavor, this rolls into a cherry flavor that turns a bit tart in the end. In the after taste the cherry smoothes out and an easy bitterness slides though. This is not only a great Belgian brew but it may be the best Winter/Christmas brew I have had this year.
