COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
On the palate this silky smooth ale is predominantly malty, with smoky, spicy and citrusy notes, and a long, lingering finish that is lightly tart and malty.

Editor’s note: Sold as both Corsendonk Christmas Ale and as King’s Blue in Norway.

Bottle, brown sugar nose. Lots of bubbles in the head. Good lacing. Winter spice and citrus palate. Warm finish. Smooth.

Very dark brown color, average sized off white head. Aroma and taste of caramel, malts, dark fruits, spices and figs. Medium body, average carbonation. Tasty and not overly sweet. Very nice.

UPDATED: JAN 20, 2015 Nice looking dark brown color, small off-white head. Lots and lots of caramel, some brown sugar, berries. Taste is more sugary, raisins and caramel. Thin to medium body, average carbonation, a bit creamy. Good one.

Bottle. Piurs cloudy coffee brown with stable light tan head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel, fruit and yeast, with notes of cinnamon and hops. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt and fruit, with estery hints and bitter notes of hops. Touches of spice. Warming alcohol presence. Bitter aftertastebwith sweetish notes. Decent, indeed.

Clear red brown beer, big creamy light beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet, bit sugary, red fruits, sourish touch, liquorish. MF: soft carbon, medium body. taste: sweet sugary start, cookies, little sour, some liquorish, bit oxidized/aged. Aftertaste: little bitter, more liquorish, overripe banana, oxidized, caramel, slightly sourish, some dark chocolate, cocoa powder.
