3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tasted at local shopís weekly beer tasting, so this is based solely on a 1oz taste. Will re-rank later when I have the full bottle. Somewhat smoky and spicy on the nose, tastes a little spicy, malty, and a bit of citrus.

25cl bottle. Dark ruby-brown pour with a tan head that gives way to a sticky lacing.Smells like dried fruit, coffee, chocolate, toffee, red grapes, copper. The taste follows the same notes, bitter-sweet leaning towards sweet, with a medium body, soft carbonation and a sticky sweet aftertaste.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Has an aroma of grassy hops, fruit, and barrel aging, and as I sip I taste caramel malt; the taste has average sweetness and bitterness, but no sour; generally a decent beer (this bottle was old, so perhaps itís not in best condition).

750 ml. bottle , marked best before Aug 17, 2018, from Holiday Wine Cellar in Escondido for half off. Pour is dark ruby red with a decent tan head. Aroma of plum, sugar syrup, port, cherry, raisin, spices. You could call it plum holiday beer and it would be accurate. Malt forward but not too sweet, light bitter and slight sour. Medium body, sticky texture, lively carbonation, sweet/sour finish, slight smoke.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Freshly opened it had intense aromas of red fruits, red apples, anise, lots of caramel and some little chocolate. After a while it makes me think of cocacola. The same in the taste. Some earthy notes to it with alcohol that is quite well hidden. The beer is well balanced but suffers from watery body. Not bad but not interesting neither.
