750 ml bottle, pours a hazy brown color, huge frothy tan head. fruity, bready aroma smells kind of like fruit cake, matly and sweet fruity-candy like butterscotch flavors, full body, creamy thick mouthfeel, a great holiday ale.

Sellerie, marcipan, almond and alcohol nose. Big frothy hazelnut brown head on this mahagony brew. Tastes raisons, ginger. Roasted. Thick. Bitter finish.

Dark ruby color with a large frothy off-white head. The aroma and flavor were very spicy...I can't quite tell which spices though. Nice perfumey tones...clove-like yeast...sweet malt. Pepper and alcohol in the finish. Tingly, yet thick feel. Enjoyable.

25oz bottle. Very good. I've heard the smaller bottles aren't as good, I'll have to try one and re-rate.

Really good Christmas ale. Dark brown in color with lots of malts, spicy yeast, and woodsy, orange citrus aromas. Equally complex on the palate with a dominating maltiness and a long finish.

(Bottled) Dark amber color with a small, beige head. Sweet and malty aroma with mandarine and some anise hints. Sweet, caramely-malty flavor with plums, licorice and raisins. Medium to full-bodied palate with medium carbonation. Hides the ABV well

25cL bottle. Beautiful cherry-brown appearance; light tan head with great retention and lacing. Generous, warm aroma: plenty of yeast and bread notes, esters, dried cherries, and spice. Full mouthfeel: malt-dominated, with maple syrup and hints of roasted malts; lots of yeast and doughy character; fresh bread, and some pepper on the finish. Surprisingly good.

Pours a deep bloody amber with a thin tan head, and leaves no lacing. Great sweet Belgian malt aroma, yeasty and has a sweet fruityness. The mouthfeel is nice and creamy. Smooth Belgian malt flavor with some evident brown sugar, toffee, dates, some coriander spicyness. The alcohol is very well hidden. Long lingering smooth slightly roasted malt finish. Smooth, rich, rounded, a nice Belgian Ale.
