Light brown, big, stable beige head.aroma is dominated by caramel. Flavour is caramel and fruits. Well-balanced, but a definite emphasis on sweetness. Creamy texture, medium body. A very pleasant, rich and sweet winter beer.

12 oz bottle from A Southern Season. Lot of carbonation, big frothy head. Deep amber. aromas of grape juice, pineapple and sugar cubes. Very creamy, velvety mouthfeel. mocha milkshake, smoothie, alcohol. Better than your typical Christmas/Winter Beer.

Dark brown with a reddish hue. Thick tan head that lasts. Lacing that perseveres. Aroma of caramel, brown sugar and raisins. Taste is an impressive combination of caramel, dark fruit, and spice. Hint of smoke. Wonderful Christmas beer!

Very nice christmas brew. Aroma is intense with darkfruits, wine and smoked malts along with a heavy dose of salty liquirice. Flavor is strong alchoholic and warming, again with both complex malts and fruits. nice

I ran across this at a liquor store in late June of all times, but was glad that I did. Poured a beautiful reddish/caramely color with a creamy head. The nose was of dried fruits and citrus notes. On the palate citrus, spice, rasins, and apples come through on a creamy base with a wonderful alcohol backing.

12/11/04: Bottle.
Fruity, complex, aroma with notes of alcohol. Rich, ruby-brown body with minimal lace. Very flavorful. Caramel malts, with raisin and plum. Light hop bite followed by a caramel finish. Caution: contents of bottle under high pressure. Opening a bottle can lead to a chipped stove (-1 point on appearance for this)! Lot n° 137250.

'Course-I'm-drunk Christmas Ale. Okay, bad. Fortunately the beer was much better. Bubbly head over orange/brown body. Berries and chocolate in the aroma. Carbination. Flavor hints of milk chocolate. Very good drink.
