Surprisingly hoppy aroma is the first thing to strike you after this dark brown pour is unleashed. A substantial head lingers atop the malted goodness. The flavor is sour and spicy, with a touch of pineapple. The hops return in the finish - to round out a nice ride.

pours mahogony in color w/ a tall frothy head and decent lacing. I smell eggnog nutmeg cinamon alcohol and malts. Palate is smooth lightly creamy ok coating Taste is a spice (cinamon and nutmeg) a light carmel malt and a small dry hop finish. Overall a solid beer. Thanks to Blake for sharing.

Bottle. Spices and raisins on the nose. Pours a dark amber with a light head. Smooth, thick, and as it slowly coats your taste buds. Coffee notes but not from Starbucks, more of a lighter roast. Great beer to sip by the fire.

12 oz bottle. Very nice deep brown pour with a fluffy tan head. Aromas were very sweet dark fruit. Raisin, molasses, spice. The flavor was very different. Very Dry. Still some dark fruit, but way drier than I had expected.. Not bad, but I expected more i guess.

Drunk on a hot summer day in Belgium (they exist :). Reddish brown colour, with a brown head. Strong maltiness in the aroma, with some cherry, citrus, sugar, spices. Full bodied, with some light caramel, alcohol and apples notes added in the flavour. Aftertaste is strong malty.

Bottle. Poured a dark brown with a creamy off-white head that leaves light lacing. The aroma has fruits, spices (clove & nutmeg), and a light hint of alcohol. The flavor found dark fruits, malts, and spices. Medium to full body. Enjoyable.
