| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jan 8, 2008 bottle. Pours a lovely shade of semi-translucent brown with a large crackling tan head. Smells sweet and has notes of caramel and fruit. Feels very alive in your mouth. In the beginning it tastes of malt and caramel with a sharp note of alcohol. Mellows out a bit as it warms and the taste of nuts, fruit, and hops emerge. Very well made and worth sampling just to see and hear the head form in the glass. dsm (109), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
