Great carbonation throughout. Color of dark brown with decent clarity. Aroma of raisins, yeast, a bit of old decaying wood and fruit. Full bodied beer with flavors of malt, yeast, various fruits and alcohol. Finish is slightly metallic, dry and warming from the alcohol. Also some lingering spices (pepper) that make the tongue tingle. Not the best of the variety but a good beer in its class. Kind of average for a dubbel. shrubber85 (3017), Wallhalben, Germany
