An unclear, somewhat honey-, or whiskey colored beer and with a foamy head. Malty aroma which isn’t very present. It tastes like a spoon of sugar en this stays in the aftertaste. Een troebel, ietwat honing c.q. whiskey kleurig bier met een witte kop. Een moutig aroma dat niet echt overheerst. De smaak is suikerzoet, en dit blijft in de nasmaak hangen.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Clear amber coloured brew with sweet bitter taste and hints of caramel.

Clear, copper coloured. Quite a perfumed aroma. Flavour is quite herbal and floral and especially sweet.

33cl bottle from Alsem’s Thick white head. Lots of sweetness. Clear amber pour. A bit too sweet.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber colored beer with a stable white head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty and has also some hints of caramel. Flavor is quite sweet as well, not very complex. Sweetness is quite overpowering, yet enjoyable. Decent Belgian.

Ambrée avec une belle mousse crémeuse qui tiens bien. Une attaque très sucrée sur le fruit rouge qui laisse un gout de grenadine en bouche. Au final, une petite déception.

Bottle, 8%. Sweet and fruity aroma, also seems citric. Clear copper colour. Big stable creamy off-white head. The flavour is sweet, spicy from the yeast. Also probably spicy from the sugar.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with abundant but airy off white head. Complex aroma of hops, malt, spice, fruit and grass. Sweet flavour of malt, caramel and spice. An ok BSA, perhaps a little to sweet.

Bel ambrato buona schiuma media persistenza leggero fruttato sciroppo discreto corpo poco luppolo

Bevuta alla spina, mediamente profumata con sentori floreali marcati. Retrogusto amaro persistente, schiuma poco presente. Nel complesso una birra poco più che mediocre che non fa onore alla tradizione belga seppur gradevole nel complesso.
