(Bottled) Clear amber with a small, lasting and lacy head. Slightly sweet, fruity and grainy-caramely-malty nose with some yeasty notes. Perfumy-aromatic, dryish and caramely flavor with yeast and the certain dullness found in many Bocq beers. Almost medium body, acidic, quite smooth carbonation. A somewhat dull and characterless brew, but can’t say it’s really bad, either. 4235

bottle, amber coloured with white head. Smell: some grainy nose, taste: yeasty, grainy, some sweetness and coriander. Nice beer.

330 ml bottle a amber colored beer with a white head aroma malts caramel yeast and spices taste malts caramel spices and some bitterness

Amber coloured. Medium sized off white head. Holds ok. Sweet bread and a bit hoppy and good spiced smell. Little sweet bread, fruits and spices at the taste. Better then expected for sure. Very good drinkeable.

Big offwhite coarseish head. Amber body with carbonation. Spicy fruity soft metal aroma with peppery notes. Dry-sweetish Belgian yeast profile with tropical fruit and resin taste, and mealy grassy notes. Light body. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dry, almost bitter, mealy soft metal and grass aftertaste with floral earthy notes. Very nice and drinkable, but not terribly remarkable. (0.33l bottle, de Biertempel, Brugge.)

pours copper; thick white head. qroma, touch of citrus and floral hops, yeasty nose leaning on the sweet honey. flavors, yeasty moutfeel, floral hops, candi sugar, light malts with an agrume like finish.

Bottle@Home. Light sweet, light malty, light bitter. Balanced easy going ale.

Beautifull bottle. Rich yet surprisingly clear brown-red body with reddish white head. Cloves and dark bread. Little too sweet for my taste. Long mild bitter aftertaste. (Bottle 33cl, 2,00 EUR)

Dark red amber colour. Sweet, fruity, malty at first. Becomes a little metallic and bitter in the finish as the hop comes through. Quite high carbonation.

Bottle. Sampled in Brasserie den Tijd (at the railway station), Bruges. Copper colour, off-white head. Pale malty nose, with hints of spicy sour Belgian yeast. Flavour is pretty much the same at the first sip. Light, yet smooth oily body. Bit milky feel. Some almondy bitterness in the end, probably from the malt.
