Sep 2011: Dumpy 33cl brown bottle, poured into a Palm badged tulip. Good mid-amber body, clear, bright and clean looking, on top a huge white crown of bubbles. The smells are all about malty molasses and Belgian yeasts, you know instantly this is a Belgian beer: how do they do that? The taste/flavours also are all around the malts and yeasts, the hops, as so often with Belgian brews, is of secondary importance, needed, but not prominent. On the sweet side but not overly so, this is an easy drinking Belgian beer with it’s alcohol content well contained and concealed. The Corsendonk people know what sells, this is a beer that fits the bill completely.

Amber coloured. Medium sized off white head. Holds ok. Sweet bread and a bit hoppy and good spiced smell. Little sweet bread, fruits and spices at the taste. Better then expected for sure. Very good drinkeable.

Draught: Frotty white head. Clear amber orange color. Smell spices, malts, sweets, grains and fruit. Taste is mix of fruit (peach, orange), spices, malts, sugars, hops and yeast. Fully carbonated, bit watery, soft and smooth on the tongue, well balanced (malts, fruits, hops and sugars) but no lasting taste

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Mild yeasty and caramelish aroma, light hoppy floral note. Dry, bitter and mild yeasty mellow spiced. Bitter and quite dry finish. Nice and smooth classic Belgian.

Taste from bottle 33 cl. @ Beer Passion Weekend, Antwerp. Almost clear copper - amber color, with a white head. Aroma bit caramel, sweet, fruits. Medium body. Taste is better than aroma, some sweet, malts, caramel notes, hopsbitterness. Dry ending.

Pours amber color with small head. Aroma of caramel malts and ripe fruits. Flavor of fruits, malts and toffee notes.

Bottle 330ml. Color dark blond with small white head. Aroma fruits, malt, spicy. Taste sweet, malt, spicy, fruits, dry.

Bottle. Orange golden color. Soft flowery hops, malt and stones in the aroma. Citrus in the slightly tart, flowery flavor. Apricot, pepper, even a bit of alcohol. Fruity but fairly dry. Very well brewed and well balanced, actually.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a fluffy off-white head. The aroma has notes of fruit, malt, spices, and some malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, spices, and fruit, leading to a dry, bitter, and spicy finish.
