Aroma not as floral as I was hoping but still permeates some floral scents. The taste of the beer warrants a decent score. The beer is not overly acidic or alcoholic which makes it very palatable and drinkable. A rather nice finish that can be attributed to the nice balance between malt and hops. Good head and lacing also indicate a decent body to this beer. Overall, not a bad beer.

from Schoentjes - clear golden-orange beer under a huge foamy white head; yeasty and syrupy aroma with notes of caramel and butterscotch; sweet and quite full-bodied, highly carbonated, some bitterness and a long spicy caramelish finish

Amber with rich light beige head. Nice hops aroma. Quite simple dry taste of slight bit roasted bitterness with certain sourness. At later stage some malty notes.

Rating #1074, smagsprřve i SuperBest Nakskov. Let syrlig og maltet aroma. Lidt kedelig syrlig og typisk belgisk ale smag. Medium tykkelse. Ok, men ville ikke give 75 kr for en flaske.

33cl bottle from De Bierboom, Brugge. Pours slightly hazy deep golden with a white head. Fruity aroma with Belgian yeast, herbs, caramel and notes of dried fruits. Medium sweet and pleasantly fruity with the classic Belgian flavours and a fairly balanced bitterness. Decent Belgian Ale.

2015-04-16 - I didn’t like this very much, tastes much stronger than it’s 6% ABV

Corsendonk Tempelier has a thin, egg-shell head, very little lacing, and a fairly murky, quite bubbly, red-orange-brown appearance. The aroma is of medium-roasted malt, some sugar, and tannin. Taste is the same, with bread crust and low-level hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium and very prickly, and Corsendonk Tempelier finishes semi-dry, and highly drinkable. For a Belgian-style red ale, this is delightful. RJT

Bottle at Fiddler. Pours clear amber with an off white head. Aroma of citrus, weeds, herbal notes and light yeast. Way more hop forward than I expected. Flavor is light moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
