Bottle from Half Time Beverage. Ok aroma sweet. Malty. Little plum green apple. Dark brownish orange color. Ok head and lace. Swert flavor. Medium body. Creamy mouthfeel. Sweet finish. Its ok. I can’t wrap my hesd around old ales. Seems a tad oxidized. I dunno. Just not for me.

Bottle from brewery. The aroma is fruit, cotton candy, molasses. The appearance is translucent yet dark red/brown, thin, dissipating off-white head. The flavor is fruit, bread, candi sugar, molasses. The finish is sweet, pine and citrus bitterness. Medium in body, creamy mouthfeel. A tad sweet, but very good.

FROTHINGSLOSH (6846) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 9, 2013
From the February 2013 3R6P tasting. +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark brown color with orange highlights and a medium sized foamy orange-tan head that left decent lacing. The aroma was sweetish and tart Pez and mixed fruits. The flavor was sweet cherry, berry and lemon with a light malty presence and touches of tart Pez and chalk. Medium length chalk, lemon, berry and Pez finish. Moderately full bodied. Interesting.

Nice head on a dark mahogany/maroon beer. Crisp alcohol smell with some malty scents. The beer is a little out of balance. Heavy on the alcohol but not a ton of flavor. Decent amount of malt but theres just not enough there.

Dark copper colored pour with an off-white head. Strange tartness on the nose. A bit of toffee and cardboard, some toasted bread, and very mild dark fruit notes. Flavor is sweet and malty with toffee, bread, and toast notes. Some fruit, a light floral hop quality, and a bit of cardboard. Mildly boozy, too. Not much of a fan of this one.
