COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Red Dragon Ale is a sweet, malty beer with a mild hop. It pours dark amber with an off-white head, and the aroma is ripe with rich, caramel malt sweetness. It’s well balanced and the elevated alcohol level is well hidden.

The aroma is nutty, toasted malt, strong caramel. The appearance is red/amber, off-white head. The flavor is just like the aroma. The finish is sweet, nuts, pine hops. Medium in body. Not bad, not remarkable.

The nose is fairly sweet, with some toffe notes. The color is nice, would call this a "red ale" This beer certainly sweet, and a slight Overall not bad, but forgettable. Thanks to ben4321 for sharing.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Half Time, 10/14/12

Aroma: The nose is fairly caramel, with some toasted malts, and light floral hops
Appearance: It pours a dark reddish-orange color with an off-white head and fizzy lace
Flavor: The taste is medium sweet, fairly malty/caramel, with a light hop bitterness in the finish
Palate: The body is medium, it feels a little creamy, it has an average carbonation, and a lightly dry finish
Overall Impression: I’m rater # 11 of this one. As for the beer, it is solid, not great, but not bad. Those looking for a top of "style" (yes, I know, this is a fake style) offering may be disappointed, but those looking for a decent beer surely will not. Solid job here by Cortland.

An easy drinking beer and high alcohol despite is smoothness. This one you’ll definitely want to keep in your fridge vault. Malty smooth and sweetness overtakes this beer with just enough hops to keep you satisfied. Invite your friends over to try this they can’t miss out on this beast.

A very good Ale with a strong presence of carmel. Dark amber appearance, the taste is smooth, and the palate is a medium to full body.

Bottle. Hazy amber with an off white head. Toasted and sweet caramel malts, floral hops, lighter earthy notes, and a hint of fruity sweetness. Not bad.

Bomber from Half Time. Pours murky dark amber with a creamy/bubbly beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, but the hop is ? Full bodied. Flavor is roasted malt with hints of dark fruit. I’m sure there’s hop, but I’m just not getting it, unless it’s citrus. And I don’t mean I taste citrus, I mean there’s a sour aspect that might be citrus. With all the malt there doesn’t seem to be something offsetting it I can lay a name to. But there is something cutting against it. Earthy hop? Best I can do. This is a tasty drink tho. Think I’d have pegged it at 8 or 9%.

Bomber poured a clear reddish amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, fruittiness, light yeast and light earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, earthiness and fruittiness with a smooth lingering eartyhy/fruity finish.

A deep amber brew. Light tan head. Fruity-roasty aromas. Flavor is on the slightly fruity-sweet side. Medium body. Some roastiness on the backside. Clean finish. I like a bit more roastiness in my ambers though.
