2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Fin (5749) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, - JUN 7, 2010
Cask, gravity at Chadlington Beer Festival, Chadlington Village Hall, Oxon, 05-06-10 Pours hazy amber with clear white bubbles at the edge. Fruity aroma with some stewed plums showing. This is fruity and tangy stuff, bit rustic to put it politely, light bitterness, interesting and I’m sure that it has a certain charm though I’m not sure that I ever quite discovered it.
