On Tap at Cossab, February 2007. Smart, deep, rich burgundy color with a nice, creamy, light tan head. Aroma is caramel, dried fruits, slightly toasted malts. Tastes bittersweet, nutty, warming, a bit of burnt sugar. Very nice. Mouthfeel is medium, some chewy crystal malts, solid and very drinkable. Nice, gentle but lingering aftertaste. A nice, merry red ale, appropiate for those rainy nights and a another solid offering from Cossab.
