UPDATED: APR 28, 2015 Bottle at Nayara near La Fortuna. Pours a dark golden color with white head. Citrus, slight mango, slight pils aromas with some floral notes. Fruity, slight passion fruit, malty flavors. A nice golden ale with some nice fruitiness. A nice balance of a beer with a little more flavor than an imperial or pilsen, while still remaining very refreshing for a hotter climate. Enjoyable, I just wish my hotel bar had more than only 2 bottles left.

UPDATED: JAN 28, 2015 Had in a bottle outside San Jose. Hazy golden pour and has some nice tropical notes and fruitiness but it then gives way to a weaker malt backbone. Not a bad beer, especially given CRs beer options.

After tasting the Costa Rica Red Ale, we decided to try this blonde ale. A little bit lighter than the red with a tropical fruity presence. The deliciously drinkable ale is very refreshing.
