COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
"This brew was originally a light session beer that was discontinued having been marketed as an 'antidote to Christmas excess'. Due to customer demand Cotleigh re-launched Harrier as a refreshing, lower alcohol beer."

Cask (GBBF 2008) - Golden in colour. Lightly hoppy and fruity aroma. Fresh tasting with some grapefruit and lemon. Nice and refreshing and a lot of flavour for the strength.

Light coloured ale, with a typically English floral hoppy aroma and citrous notes. Taste is fairly full bodied in the mouth and his fairly bold floral hop flavour and then bit of sweet maltness on the finish. Does this really have "Lite’ in the title. Seems unlikely and not on the pump sign.

(cask @ The Bear In , Wiveliscombe , Somerset.) I was about 5 minutes from the micro , not one of their best offerings , but a decent room-temp kinda bitter. Malty sweet caramel notes, some faint biscuty. Lemony hops, citrusy dusty yeast.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Copper with a small white head. Pleasant malt aroma. Grainy, biscuity taste, a bit watery perhaps. Some bitterness. Not bad.

Cask in the market porter. Alround rating: Pale caramel amlt, very light and thin, grassy and lightly floral hop. Fairly uninspiring.

Cask, Three Guineas, Reading. Amberish gold colour with little in the way of head. Slightly damp farty aroma with a vague hint of musty hop. Some citrus notes in the flavour which had enough hop present to make this a sinkable thirst quencher that is ok considering the strength.

DruncanVeasey (5147) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Prem, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAR 19, 2009
Cask, The Victoria Inn, Rugby. No mention of ’Lite’ here. Lacy gold with a flat dense lid. Lemony and sweaty green hop traces in the aroma. That dank sesame Cotleigh thing, vanilla and peanut paleness, dryish hop finish, sweet creamy malt afters.

Half pint at The Halfway House. Clear golden body. Missing head. Vague hoppy to the nose. Suggestions of hoppy fruits in flavour with a decent bitter tail. Quite well bodied for the strength. Edinburgh 24.10.2008.
