Gravity at Red Lion, Snargate. Amber coloured and is a bit nutty. Bit thin in mouth, but a very nice hop finish. nothing exceptional, which is a shame cos I do like Cotleigh beers

tombyars (1102) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - NOV 24, 2011
First tasted this at the Paisley Beer Festival in April 1991. Cask, gravity dispense. Crystal clear pale gold in colour with a thin white head. Lemony notes in the short aroma. Thin but refreshing mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts give a digestive biscuit base and a sharp tang of juicy citrus fruits with lemon and lime to the fore. Dry dusty citrus hops merge well with the malt to give a long resiny aftertaste. Finish is dry and astringent with grapefruit peel evident.

Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear pale golden appearance. Faint lemony hop aroma. Thin grainy and biscuity flavour with touches of lemon. Short aftertaste of biscuit and lemon-peels.

Cask Conditioned at a wetherspoons. Light gold with bubbly white head. Thinnish sharp pale ale with a background chemical note. Dry and astringent, there is a sharp hop note on the finish.
