Hazy dark amber color, small head. Very light aroma, and light caramel flavor, very thin body, correct bitterness. Simple.

Cask @ GBBF 2010, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.

Clear medium to dark amber color with a average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, nutty - earthy, light honey. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. The way of honey - earthy i do not like .. Cask (GBBF 2010) -Dark brown with red tinges. Roasted aroma with hints of raisins, malt and caramel. Roasted taste with grain, honey, caramel and malt.

Cask Stillage at the GBBF, Earl’s Court 03/08/2010 Fruity aroma. Dark coloured fruity and a little rich on the palate with a hint of dryness in a bitter full malt finish.

Cask@GBBF2010. Deep amber colour with small head. Aroma is fruits, honey, wood, sap and some mild spices. Flavour is honey, nectar, wood and some spices. Mild nuttyness in the finish as well.

(Cask at Bull & Bear, Stockholm, 30 March 2010) Dark brown colour, almost mahogany, with foamy beige head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of dried fruit, raisins and caramel. Malty, fruity taste with dried fruit, toasted grain, caramel, raisins, dark bread and a slightly bittersweet finish. Medium body. Very drinkable.

The nose is iodine and roasty malt. sweet and sour in the mouth. With a long honey and straw finish. not amazing and not at all smooth. I am sorely disappointed.

10th November 2008. Clear brown beer - no real head. Nicely balanced. Full flavoured malt - smooth with a touch of marmaladey hop. Nutty too. Easy drinking and not escapes the English ale curse of over dryness!

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. An amber beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and nuts. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, nuts, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

From cask at Charlies. Pours dark golden amber with a small off white head. Roasted breadish aroma. Bitter, fruity ad roasted breadish flavoured. Lingering malty mixed with a herbal and fruity finish.

Cask at Charlies. Clear orange coloured with a small off white head. Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel, grass and hops. Fruity flavour of caramel and grapes with notes of grass and hops. Hoppy finish.
