(500ml) In a Cotleigh pint . The last of a Christmas gift pack that my Uncle got me from his local micro in some rural bumpkin Somerset town . I liked half of the selection , their porter and X-mas were good solid offerings and the rest being malty tepid low boost ales that have taken even a functioning alcoholic like myself seven months to slowly plough through . This is an ESB though , so more booze even if its still subdued . Citrus hop nose , grass, spice , lemon like dishwashing vibe , caramel , dried raisin , brown bread : Brown and boring to look at as it should be as an ESB . Its malty , its citrusy , its ok . This would be better cask I guess.
