3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 berkshirejohn (3016) - Bracknell, - SEP 11, 2010
50cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. A typical looking European lager, straw in colour with a fast fading white head leaving some light carbonation; however the nose and taste reveals lemony citrus flavours that make this very palatable. A good attempt at "real lager".

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Alphadelic (1470) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 13, 2010
A bit sweet for me but quite tasty with plenty of character from the yeast in there. The hops are relaxed and lightly fragrant though add little or no bitterness. Mellow maltiness is the dominant flavour here.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 chriso (7065) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 19, 2010
Bottle @ pre-GBBF shindig, August 2009. Always interesting to see a British brewer try something different and a microbrewery making only genuine lagers is certainly that. I’d heard good things about Cotswold but I didn’t find this too impressive. The clear gold appearance was just fine. But the aroma was very grainy and I thought I got a whiff of diacetyl too. Clean and dry mouthfeel but not enough hop bite for my taste. Flagged for re-rate, preferably on draught.
