275ml bottle from a mixed British Ales pack from Aldi. Golden amber with a trace of white head, and heavy carbonation; light lager hop aroma; quite bitter and hoppy in the mouth, but very thin; and with a grassy finish. Refreshing, and actually not too bad.

Probably the best of the Boots 4 pack. Reasonable sweet malty biscuit aroma and slightly jammy. Grainy texture and a hint of pineapple and sherbert, to counter the bitter tang. For 3%, this is not bad and has enough character. Nice burnished orange appearance, with a clean, thin white head.

Live rate round the folks. Bottle out of the Boots gift pack. Bright bronze with disappearing slick of froth. Yeasty, red apple peel and peanut butter aroma. Taste dough, straw-like malt, apple peel, metallic bitterness. Linger of vanilla, dough and paracetamol. Quite a bit of cardboard as it warms. Drinkable.
