Cask (Kuikka, Helsinki)
Light malty aroma, I think. woo-woo woman beside me thinks it’s lactic. Very gentle carbonation. Very light grainy body. No apricot at all at first. There are some fruity flavours, a gentle peach perhaps, but not the tang of apricot. It seemed fresh to me, but sour to Anna. I thikn anna’s on drugs. The fruity flavours fit in with the golden ale body, ans work well together. The milky light grain and popcorn finish is nice. Leaves the mouth a bit dry.

Cask. Obvious apricot outburst from the cloudy light-copper ale with an off-white ring. Sweetish, fruity and caramelly flavour profile. Strong cereal flavours through and through. A pointy alcohol note peaks through the finish that feel seriously sticky. Well… it’s an apricot beer indeed.
