Light brown amber...thin white dense head.
Aroma.....light...caramel malt.
Taste of fruity malt, caramel, berries, some bitter spicy hops, bit of toffee. Has a reasonably good flavour.
Palate...soft carb...smooth...Finish fruity malt with some bitterness, light roast.
Overall...Pleasant drinkable beer, not exciting, but just a traditional bitter that is somewhat better than the average bog standard bitter.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Slightly hazy, amber coloured beer, with a tight cream head; aroma of malt and biscuit; crisp malty flavour, becoming more mellow as time goes on, eventually reminding me of Ovaltine.

DruncanVeasey (5147) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Prem, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUL 18, 2011
The Jug and Jester (JDW), Leamington, 17/07/11. Copper with a slick beige lid lining the glass. Slight herbal hop aroma, maybe- not much happening. Soft ferny hop, caramel-draped stone, aniseed, cinder toffee. Good bog standard brown bitter. A welcome return to beeriness after the North Cotswold.

Draught cask at the bridge bar in Belfast. A typical mid brown British bitter this one reminiscent of ringwood best. Fuggles aroma assaults the nose. Hedgerow fruits and bitter finish. Thirst quenching.

Cask Conditioned handpump Kings Arms Oxford. An amber coloured beer with a whitish head and lacing. A sweet malty nose with a bit of toffee. A reasonably balanced bittersweet taste with a toch of fruit. The sweetness probably dominates but it’s fine.
